The grape originally hails from Burgundy, but was introduced  in Italy at the beginning of the Nineteenth Century. This wine has been made using the cryomaceration technique.

This technique is used for the production of sparkling wine, it has an unmistakable fragrance of Golden Delicious apples and young freshness. It is dry  to the taste, and we recommend it be accompanied with fish dishes, first courses of seafood, oysters and white meat.

It is perfect as an aperitif. The winegrowers of Cantina Aldeno cultivate  this vine in sunny hillside vineyards.

This Chardonnay should be served chilled at a temperature of 11- 13°C.
